An underground world

The Grotte de Pierre-Lys, the Grottes de Saint-Georges, Muraille, Diable or Nentilla, all these caves, and more, display features such as astonishing concretionary evolutions, ...which can be seen from ground level due to the presence of sinkholes.

The massif des Fanges and the Gorges de l’Aude are among the most interesting underground networks in the Pyrenean foothills, with more than 350 chambers and sinkholes in the Forêt des Fanges alone.

Grotte de l'Aguzou

The custodian will take you on a subterranean walk where you will see a network of exceptional fossils: stalactites, stalagmites, draperies, prismatic helictites, calcite and aragonite crystals. This underground adventure is accessible to all and is ideal for an introduction to caving in a semi-equipped cave.
